On February 13, 2020, Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. (the “Company”) announced today it has submitted the study’s protocol design and registration plan for its pivotal Phase III liver cancer trial to the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Product and Human Use (CHMP). A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

In addition, on February 13, 2020, the Company postponed its special meeting of shareholders (the “Special Meeting”), which was scheduled for the same day. The Special Meeting was adjourned for one week to the same day, time and place. Accordingly, the Company’s Special Meeting will be reconvened on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., Israel time at the Company’s offices located at 10 Bareket Street, Petach Tikva, Israel.
