On June 15, 2016, Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. issued a press release announcing new mechanism of action data indicating its lead drug candidate, Piclidenoson (CF101), inhibits two inflammatory cytokines, interleukin 17 (IL-17) and interleukin 23 (IL-23) which are known to play a major role in the inflammatory process of psoriasis. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
